| Good News and Bad News

The good news is that I got confirmation that the laptop I bought for my son made it over there just fine.
The bad news? She claims he already has one and doesn't want mine and furthermore has revealed to me that she is now some kind of Muslim fundamentalist.
She literally sent me a list of rules of things I'm not allowed to talk about with him. This includes speaking poorly of any religion or religious figure, not condoning co-habitation or premarital relationships (which means specifically that she does not want me to talk about my girlfriend of 11 years that he has a half brother from) and not condoning or appearing to condone same sex relationships of any kind.
These are not the values I want for my son, but I've agreed because she has finally decided to get a new sim card for the cell phone I sent him over a year ago and that she claimed was broken and is suggesting that if I agree to her "rules" that I might get to call him sometime.
So, the laptop is apparently being shipped back to me. Thanks to everyone who gave advice on this or hooked him up with a game (apparently he isn't allowed to play video games now).
I guess the next question is how the fuck do I handle a Muslim convert ex? |
